We've stayed at enough all-inclusive resorts to be sceptical of the term — and Ikos Olivia was the one that changed our mind about what it could mean. Six restaurants, a wine list most hotels twice its size would envy, and 450 metres of Blue Flag beach, all without a single surcharge in sight.

Ikos Olivia, the original Ikos Collection property on Halkidiki's Kassandra peninsula, set the template its sibling Aria would later refine. Smaller, quieter, and with a stronger adults-only orientation, Olivia remains, for many repeat guests, the more charming of the two — a resort that does the all-inclusive concept with a confidence that comes from having got there first.
Ikos Olivia — At a Glance
Who it's for: Couples and adults wanting the freedom of all-inclusive without the usual compromises, on a smaller and more intimate scale than its sister resort, Aria.
What to expect:
22 acres of olive groves and firs, on the Gulf of Toroneos
Six dining venues, including The Garden — an exclusive new à la carte restaurant — plus over 100 premium wines
Four pools, including a lagoon pool with a swim-up bar
450 metres of Blue Flag sandy beach
70km/around an hour from Thessaloniki Airport
Ikos Olivia sits a five-minute walk from Gerakini, a traditional Greek fishing village with tavernas and beachfront shops.
The 'Infinite Lifestyle', Refined

As at Aria, the all-inclusive here is genuinely comprehensive: six dining venues — including The Garden, Olivia's own exclusive à la carte addition, alongside Provence (French), Fresco (Italian), Ouzo (Greek), Anaya (Asian), and the Flavors buffet — a wine list of over 100 premium labels served at dinner,

Premium spirits including Champagne at the bars, and no surcharges for the better tables or the better menus. The difference from Aria is scale — Olivia is smaller, and the service feels correspondingly more personal. Staff remember your wine preference from the first dinner; the sommelier will seek you out for a Greek Assyrtiko you might not have tried.
Rooms, Suites, and Bungalows

Following a recent redesign, Olivia's rooms now lean into a contemporary Mediterranean palette of mocha and ivory tones, natural materials, and rich textiles. Accommodation is split between Premium Suites — such as the One Bedroom Bungalow Suite — and the Deluxe Collection, a separate area offering One and Two Bedroom Bungalow Suites with private gardens, beachfront balconies, or, at the top end, a private pool of your own.

Every room includes a mini bar, included and restocked as part of the all-inclusive package.
Entertainment
Evenings at Olivia run through a mix of ambient bars, beach parties, and live entertainment, with the resort's 100-label wine collection doing much of the work after dark. There's a dedicated kids' entertainment programme for younger guests, and for couples, the option of a private, romantic dinner served on your own balcony rather than in the main restaurants.
The Beach and the Pools

The beach at Olivia runs 450 metres along the Gulf of Toroneos, Blue Flag-awarded, with shallow, calm water typical of the Halkidiki coast. Four pools are spread through the resort's 22 acres, including a lagoon pool with its own swim-up bar and dedicated paddling pools for children — enough spread that couples can find a quieter corner while families have their own space.

The genius of Olivia is that 'all-inclusive' stops feeling like a transaction and starts feeling like a household.
The Spa, Among the Pines
The Ikos Spa here is run by Anne Semonin, the same house behind the spa at Aria, with complimentary access to the thermal suites as part of the stay. The emphasis is on relaxation and genuine wellness rather than a token treatment menu — a calm counterpart to the resort's more social spaces.
Why It Matters
Ikos Olivia demonstrated, before Aria, that the all-inclusive could be done at a luxury level in Greece, and it remains a reference point. For couples and adults who want the freedom of all-inclusive without the compromises, and who prefer a smaller, more intimate property, it is the Halkidiki choice — and one of the more convincing luxury all-inclusives anywhere in the Mediterranean.
